Our cruise takes us on a remarkable journey of this mighty river. Enjoy lunch as we cruise, arriving in Avignon early afternoon. Why not take a ride on the towns small train to see the local sights (at own cost, payable locally). Our ship will cruise overnight to Arles.
Enjoy time at leisure in Arles this morning – most famous for its exceptionally well-preserved amphitheatre – or join an optional drive to the Camargue. This afternoon we cruise on towards Port St. Louis or Martigues.

This morning will be spent cruising to La Voulte. Join our optional excursion exploring some of the villages in the Vercors region. We rejoin our ship at Tain l’Hermitage or Tournon sur Rhône in time to prepare for our gala dinner and evening of entertainment. We sail through the night towards Lyon.

A fantastic River Cruise and two nights in Paris. Pure luxury! Really pure luxury x Cabins were large and comfortable with large Windows to watch the world go by. All public areas are very clean and comfortable with fantastic staff who were very helpful. Food was first class and well presented. The lovely Lisa served us with our food and always kept us smiling, nothing was too much trouble for her. Entertainment was excellent presented by Vito who was a very kind and funny man, he always had a few words to say to everyone. Our fantastic driver, Jason, who was always very cheerful, really looked after us all. Unfortunately the second driver, Carl, let the team down with his very Sharpe tongue and miserable attitude towards us all. But overall a fantastic holiday by shearings. Thank you so much. xxx Cruise was so good we have booked another river cruise with Shearrings for next year. xxx

My first river cruise, my first coach holiday and the first time for many years that I was travelling alone. Really enjoyed the holiday, boat was wonderful, the crew always helpful and friendly and the food was perfect. Met some lovely people and am already planning the next holiday.

We had booked this holiday a long time ago - with Covid restrictions and difficulties for Shearings it took a long time to achieve it! We enjoyed the holiday and excursions we were able to go on very much, but feel the programme became very unclear - would like to have had more information about accessibility of excursions.
