Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then we will board the ferry to the Isle of Wight and continue on to Shanklin for four nights.
Discover the ‘Diamond Isle’ on a scenic, circular excursion. We travel along the south coast of the island, passing Freshwater Bay to reach Yarmouth – a bustling town with a natural harbour.
We continue crossing through the beautiful scenery of the heart of the island, returning to our base on the west coast of the island.
Opulent, flamboyant and undoubtedly impressive, a trip to Osborne House is not to be missed. Enjoy the unique opportunity to see the Italian-style villa adorned in festive finery.
The holiday home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert – who is said to have introduced many of the festive traditions we still celebrate today – is arguably the best place to relish in all things festive.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Sandown, which is sheltered on a beautiful bay with long stretches of golden beaches, a traditional seafront and a wonderful pier.

The 3 star Channel View Hotel is in a unique location occupying an elevated cliff-top position overlooking Shanklin bay. The hotel is owned by the Gino family who personally oversee all aspects of this popular hotel. They are justly proud of their reputation for quality with a warm welcome, efficient service, excellent food and attention to detail. The hotel offers entertainment in the evenings in The Alverstone Room which has a large maple sprung dance floor and a well-stocked bar.
