Today we head to Cardiff, the vibrant capital of Wales and home to numerous historical buildings, the fabulous castle, and the revitalised, waterfront Cardiff Bay area. Enjoy free time to explore at your own pace before re-joining the coach for the short journey to the Royal Mint Experience. If you have some spare change in your pocket – this is where it originated! Enjoy a guided tour, then free time to explore the rich history of the Royal Mint through its fascinating exhibitions. To finish our day, we have included a cream tea treat to enjoy before returning to our hotel. The question is – will it be jam or cream first?
Today, the choice is yours! Enjoy a day at leisure in Aberavon, where you can enjoy two miles of promenade overlooking Swansea Bay towards the Gower Peninsula and the sandy Blue Flag Beach. Or why not join us on our optional excursion to the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, where we spend time in the beating heart of Brecon, nestled between the Brecon Beacons to the south and Black Mountains to the east. Enjoy free time to explore this picturesque market town, famed for its Georgian architecture, before re-joining our coach for our scenic journey through the Brecon Beacons back to our hotel.

Following breakfast, we head to the beautiful Gower Peninsula, now known as Gower National Landscape. It was designated as the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty back in 1956 and offers a diverse landscape with everything from wild moors and limestone cliffs, to golden, sandy beaches. Enjoy a brief visit to Mumbles before our circular Gower tour. We then head to the waterfront city of Swansea with free time to explore during the afternoon before returning to our hotel.
Following breakfast, we depart for home.
